Sarah’s strong family background of builders, architects, artists and project managers play a large role in her love of real estate and all its facets. Sarah has been incredibly successful establishing herself in the Marin real estate community. She built a custom craftsman home in San Geronimo, managing the entire project from raw land to planning, permitting, and construction; she brings this experience in making her dream home a reality to her clients. Sarah has a wide range of strong contacts with many of the Bay Area’s most reputable architects, green builders, designers, and general contractors to match your every need with the best quality professional. Whether staging your home, finding land to build new construction, or renovating to bring a higher price, she draws the best professionals together on your behalf. In 2007, HGTV producers of Curb Appeal featured Lotte and Sarah in their show Road Test That House and BrokerAgent Magazine featured Lotte and Sarah on the cover story.

Sarah is a long time resident of Marin. A mother and wife, Sarah is also actively involved in St. John’s Ross, serving on the Vestry, teaching Sunday school, and also as Chair of the Tour de Noel, Ross’ Christmas House Tour of which 100% of the proceeds benefit the charity.

She is also a class parent at Stuart Hall for Boys.

Hobbies
Sarah’s home sits on over 2 acres that back up to open space, which stretches all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge. As you can imagine, Sarah values her time on the fire roads either hiking with her family and German Shepard or riding her mountain bike. Sarah enjoys Ashtanga yoga, cycling, running, hiking and surfing.

Background
Growing up in a home her parents built in Edina Minnesota, Sarah has 5 brothers, 4 sisters, and 22 nieces and nephews. She attended Edina High School and Uskudar Academy for girls in Istanbul, Turkey. Always an athlete, Sarah competed in swimming, gymnastics, and track; lettering in all sports in addition to her teams winning State Championships. While in school, Sarah taught windsurfing and participated in Youth in Government. While growing up, Sarah was also active in her church, Christ Presbyterian Church, where her father, Rev. Dr. Roger Anderson, was the Senior Minister. During the summer she led white water canoe trips in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Education
Sarah attended University of Wisconsin Madison, where she was on the crew team. She has a BA in English from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. While at St. Olaf, Sarah was the Executive Editor of the newspaper and received an All-American award for excellence in journalism. Sarah was also Honor House President and received the President’s Award for Outstanding Leadership.

Wanting to broaden her horizons after college, Sarah traveled extensively. Including spending time teaching English to 100 students a week in Hamamatsu, Japan. She also taught skiing at Pepe Stegler’s Ski School in Jackson Hole Wyoming. She was an editorial intern for Windsurf Magazine in Dana Point, CA and an executive intern at Minnesota Center for Book Arts in Minneapolis, MN.

Professional Experience
Sarah was the studio director for Rod Walker Photography, a sports and recreation photographer in Boulder, Colorado. She was responsible for organizing photo shots, sales, and running the studio.

As VP of Sales and Marketing for Sky Chairs, Sarah brings incredible depth in business to real estate. During her career with Sky Chairs, Sarah developed a marketing strategy that built the firm into a globally recognized brand. Creating new markets in Europe and opening a retail store in Hawaii.

Giving Back
Sarah believes strongly in supporting charities. In addition to volunteering her time, she financially contributes to Daystar University in Nairobi, Kenya that supports education in Africa, Global Aids Interfaith Alliance, GAIA, MALT, and Habitat for Humanity.
